A World Where Massive Corporate Layoffs Were Unheard Of

During the spring of 1992 I met with one of my clients for a private coaching session. At the end of the session I remarked to her how much calmer and happier she appeared to be and attributed it to her new career and her new relationship. Then she dropped the bombshell. She said, "Judy, I just did Feng Shui on my home and the new career, new relationship, peace, harmony, additional wealth, and overall sense of well-being are the results."

That was the turning point in my career. Within minutes after my client left I was on the Internet (a new thing for the public sector at the time) looking for websites that would point me to any information on Feng Shui. I found my first teacher, Nancilee Wydra, with whom I studied for over a year. She had worked with Donald Trump in the turnaround of his financial situation.

Then I found Master Joseph Yu www.astro-fengshui.com, one of the top traditional Feng Shui Masters in the world. He teaches what we call Time-Space Feng Shui. Another name for this school of Feng Shui is Xuan Kong Feng Shui. Xuan means Time. Kong means Space. So we call it Time-Space Feng Shui. Master Yu has been and continues to be an extraordinary teacher and mentor. Although I hold the honor of being the first American certified by this noble master to practice and teach Time-Space Feng Shui, my studies with him will continue for as long as I live and for as long as he is available and willing to teach me.

Over the years I have developed an international client base. Through this experience I have had much opportunity to impact productivity in business environments through the application of Time-Space Feng Shui. The results are sometimes quick and dramatic, while other times are slower and subtler. There are always results. There are effective systems applied to business (and homes) that do not utilize the compass or the time aspects of Feng Shui. However, what my research and experience has proven is that in order to gain optimum results it takes the use of the compass and the time element. You could compare the effectiveness of the simple systems to the effectiveness of a Kindergarten graduate and the effectiveness of the Time-Space system to the effectiveness of a Harvard MBA.

I have worked with professionals who range from executives and managers in the oil and gas industry, telecommunication, manufacturing, computer technology, banks, and accounting firms to educators, attorneys, health care professionals, restaurateurs, and retailers. One thing has been abundantly clear across the board with all types of business: people are happier and more productive when working in an environment that has proper Feng Shui. The bottom line always becomes healthier.

As I witness the latest round of corporate layoffs blamed on the recent "downturn" in the economy, I know in my heart and from my experience that a great deal of this trend is exacerbated by poor or downright bad Feng Shui. The source of this condition is that Westerners lack the distinctions concerning this 10,000-year-old art and practice.
