IMAGINE, JUST IMAGINE A World with Powerful Infrastructures
Infrastructure seems to be the buzzword for the onset of the 21st century. As we look around us in our cities, countries, organizations, corporations, small businesses, home offices, and homes - just to name a few places - it is painfully clear that our infrastructures are insufficient to support the tasks at hand. As I sit here in the Chicago O'Hare Airport looking out at the rain cascading onto the tarmac, there are two airport personnel running across with a small child to load her onto a United Express aircraft. Another airport employee follows - pushing a wheelchair - but without an umbrella. There are two school children under one umbrella running through the rain to board the same aircraft. Now comes a line of other passengers. This tells us something about our infrastructure: that one of the most sophisticated airports in America has people walking through the rain to board an airplane. This is not a problem, but it certainly points to the need for stronger planning and follow-through. With proper use of Time-Space Feng Shui in the planning phases of structures like airports, office buildings, communities, cities, and towns, the infrastructures can be planned far in advance. In fact, to insure the prosperity of locations it is critical. We can all see where proper planning has been implemented and where it has not. Most of us have not known what the answers might be. Time-Space Feng Shui comes to the rescue now and not a minute too soon. There is a level of forecasting that can be achieved through this amazing system that goes way beyond measuring certain past or present demographics, economics, and visions. It is a practical, down-to-earth set of principles that, appropriately applied and included with the aforementioned data, can create infrastructures that will support generations to come. Question: What about our personal infrastructures? How can Time-Space Feng Shui support the design of those in our already-set-up homes and offices? Answer: Assuming that you know what you want for the future, perform a Time-Space Feng Shui reading on your space. That will include calculating the completion of construction date, the compass reading of the facing of the space, then creating a chart to tell you where the most suitable areas for specific activities are. Then place the windows, doors, and hallways in the appropriate places to provide the correct infrastructure for optimum qi flow. Sound simple? It is. There are certain complexities that occur inside this simple process, but the results are well worth the time and trouble you take to accomplish the task. What if we took this process into the design of corporate environments? We could possibly avoid many economic downturns and subsequent layoffs. What if we took this process into the design of highways? Might we avoid much of the "road rage" we have been experiencing for the last 20 or so years? Traffic jams would be at a minimum. How might that impact the flow of commerce and the quality of life at home? Actually, the possibilities of the impact of including the principles of Time-Space Feng Shui in all our infrastructures (including the flow of information and communication) are endless. Imagine, just imagine what our lives would be like living in a world with powerful infrastructures. Judy Adler is committed to creating a world of quality living by 2040.
